The culmination of a meeting between a major comics creator and a renowned energy and climate specialist, this project is an undeniable necessity. Smart, concise, and funny, this graphic novel discusses, chapter after chapter, the profound changes our planet is undergoing, our dependence on fossil fuels, and the consequences that are already apparent in our daily lives.
Although Jean-Marc Jancovici focuses on energy issues and climate change, he doesn’t ignore the social, ecological, and economic implications of these phenomena (could the pursuit of economic growth at any price be an illusion?). Christophe Blain, in the role of Candide, provides the lavish, surprising, and always instructive art.
