Mikros Iros Publications first got its start under the name Anemodouras in 1949, when the late Stelios Anemodouras took his first steps in the field with Nychterida magazine. This was followed in 1953 by the publication of the legendary series Mikros Iros, or “Little Hero.” Decades later, Mikros Iros continues to publish a wide range of classic and contemporary comics, including landmark series such as Zagor, Tex, Dylan Dog, and Corto Maltese. Mikros Iros became a partner of Europe Comics in 2021 with The Famous Quartet of Piraeus.
