Didier Conrad was born on May 6th, 1959 in Marseille and is of Swiss origin. He published his first pages in Spirou magazine from the age of 17 and worked there with Yann, with whom he would create Les Innommables (Dargaud) and Dans l'enfer des hauts de pages (Dargaud). In 1983, the first album of Aventure en Jaune (Dargaud) was published and followed by the parody Bob Marone (Glénat). In 1985, he started a project on his own which would lead three years later to Piège Malais published in the Aire Libre collection by Dupuis. Meanwhile, he created Donito, his first all-ages series, also published by Dupuis. In April 1996, he went to the USA in order to work on a feature animated film production for DreamWorks Animation, The Road to El Dorado. In 2007, he published the first volume of the adventure series Raj (Dargaud; Europe Comics/Cinebook in English).
