Born in France in 1960, Antonio Fischetti has a doctorate in the physical sciences. He taught at the Conservatoire national des arts et métiers, at the Conservatoire national supérieur de la musique et de la danse in Paris, at the Louis-Lumière school, and at the film school La Fémis before getting involved in scientific journalism, including a weekly column in Charlie Hebdo, as well as audiovisual documentaries and dozens of other works, such as Chats et chiens sous la loupe des scientifiques (Actes Sud junior, 2015) and Questions idiotes et pertinentes sur le genre humain (Albin Michel, 2012). In 2019, alongside artist Guillaume Bouzard, he created Planet of Science, (Dargaud; Europe Comics), a collection of biographies of some of history’s brightest scientific minds.
