Abdel de Bruxelles is a comics artist of French-Moroccan origin. After several years of producing illustrations and commissioned drawings for the press, he created the character of Avril for Éditions Carabas, with Antoine Dodé, a friend he met during his studies. His work has appeared in various magazines such as Revue dessinée, Topo, Fluide Glacial, and Éduquer, as well as in various collective and personal projects for independent Belgian and French publishers. In 2014, he began his first collaboration with Fabien Grolleau (author and editor), giving life to the character DUM in the eponymous series, published by Vide Cocagne. In 2017, he illustrated Le conflit Israélo-Palestinien, 2 peuples condamnés à cohabiter alongside Vladimir Grigorieff in the Petite Bédéthèque des Savoirs collection published by Le Lombard. In 2022, he collaborated with Fabien Grolleau once more to create Tanger sous la pluie (Dargaud; Tangier in the Rain, Europe comics in English).
