Ellipsanime Productions is a leading French animation studio specialized in the adaptation of literary, and especially comic book properties into animated series and other television programs. Some of the most famous characters it has brought to life are Tintin, Corto Maltese, Babar and Blake and Mortimer. Ellipsanime also produces original series such as Kong, Insectors and Chicken Town. It has a rich and varied catalog and was acquired by Dargaud (group Média-Participations) in 2003.
