Laura Suárez

Laura Suárez was born in 1994 in a small village in Costa da Morte, Galicia. She grew up among comics and illustrated books, which were the beginning of her passion for literature and drawing. She got a bachelor's degree in fine arts and a master's in illustration and comics. Her work has been widely published, including the magazine Cocoter and the publishing house Baula, of the group Edelvives. Her work is inspired by such artists as Júlia Sardà, Emily Carroll, SangMiao and Zuzana Čupová. The Tales of the Mist is her first graphic novel, largely inspired by her family and her childhood.
