Franck Tacito

Born in 1963 in the Paris suburbs, Franck Tacito has always been passionate about comics. He discovered the comics universe thanks to his grandmother, who used to buy him issues of the magazine Strange when he was a kid. Since then, he started drawing and dreaming about a career as an artist, despite his parents who wanted him to become a doctor. In 1993, he proposed his work to several publishing houses and ended up meeting François Froideval, who had just finished the first volume of Chroniques de la Lune Noire (first published by Zenda, then Dargaud; Black Moon Chronicles, Europe Comics). The two joined up for the series 666. In 1997, Tacito created Dead Hunter, a pulp-western comic, and in 2000 he wrote the script for the fantasy thriller Magica, with Angleraud and Guenet. In 2004, he went back to 666, completing six more volumes with a script from his friend Froideval. Over the years they would continue their collaboration, including a volume in the series Les Arcanes de la Lune Noire (Dargaud; The Black Moon Arcana, Europe Comics).
