After directing in 1991 the first Capitan Cosmo, the first italian HD movie, Carlo Carlei gained international success in 1993 with Flight of the Innocent, which became a cult movie in the United States. He has also directed many TV movies: Padre Pio, Enzo Ferrari, Il Generale Della Rovere, I Bastardi di Pizzofalcone. His work in the field of comics includes the mafia thriller The Passenger, published by Tunué in 2016 and by Europe Comics in English in 2018.
