Writer and editor for Panini comics, Marco Rizzo has worked with artist Lelio Bonaccorso on many books for Beccogiallo and Rizzoli: Que viva el Che Guevara, Peppino Impastato, un giullare contro la mafia, La mafia spiegata ai bambini, L'immigrazione spiegata ai bambini, Jan Karski: l'uomo che scoprì l'Olocausto, Gli ultimi giorni di Marco Pantani. For Castelvecchi and Newton-Compton he also published Supermarket Mafia and Storia segreta di Che Guevara, and as a journalist he writes for Wired and L'Unità. He won the Micheluzzi award in 2008 for best comic with Ilaria Alpi - Il prezzo della verità. His recent work also includes The Passenger, a mafia thriller published by Tunué in 2016 and by Europe Comics in English in 2018.
